I thought I would share a wee puzzle with you all - I can't find any info
on this particular subject
Whenever those poor unfortunate windoze users use IE to access our
Apache (Linux) server, I receive an error message in the apache logs. It states
that they are trying to recover favicon.ico.
This Icon is requested everytime - independent of the site that they are
trying to reach. The error (404) is not fatal and they reach the site
anyway.
What is favicon.ico and should I put a dummy blank/empty file there??!!
