What happens is probably that you open a local port with MS Chat, and then
you connect to port 6667 of the server. So, this packet from MS Chat gets
out if you open like you said, but the packets coming back to port XXXXX
on your machine are "firewalled".
At least I assume this is what happens. One possible solution is MASQ.
