I forgot to say that I did that, too!
At first, if I did that then my computer froze at
reboot as soon as it recognized the card and I
couldn't even get to login prompt!  After some time
and additional manipulation of /etc and its
subdirectories,  the computer at least doesn't freeze
at boot up after network card recognition.
