Strange why this should be quite random. This could not be affected by
outside routers or such ?

I will try this the next time the firewall goes down, as it have
worked the last days =)

And the default gateway is one of the firewalls IP's, or as i have
already the internal IP?

But the newest stable kernel is 2.2.14?, I should not use a 2.2.3
kernel as I understand?
I've tried this some while ago, and that kernel did not work as
supposed.
