No, because no other packet is acking XSEQ+1! If you drop that packet and
blindly ACK it, then host2 will enter TIME_WAIT, but you will stay in
CLOSING! In my old dumps, host2 then ignored the retransmitted FIN,
resulting in a stuck socket.

Also, the third line should read FIN XSEQ:XSEQ(0) ack YSEQ+1. The FIN
never gets ACKed since the fourth packet there is dropped. (You can tell
I'm not used to this -- next message I'll probably change my mind again. I
wish I could find those dumps. :/ )
