The people who write and contribute to Linux (whichever part) are dedicated
software engineers of a very high quality. Such people have a lot of pride,
and once a bug has been reported, they will most certainly pursue it with
the utmost vigor. After all, it is their personal work & pride this is about.
I'm not sure the same applies to M$ products.
I think that just about sums it up.
