amazingly, many m$ft supporters cannot fathom that free software could be of
industrial strength. i predict that some day such an attitude is going to
come back and haunt them. the foundation of m$ft is cracked - like
torpedoes having hit under the waterline of a ship - yet the facade remains
for the most part, intact.

the crux of the matter is in the open source and resultant rapid
improvements and quick turnaround in bug fixes, and m$ft - by putting their
closed source at the apex of the pyramid - has failed in this regard.

in the end no amount of marketing hype - and with it the constantly changing
interface (change for change's sake) - is going to remove the superior
effectiveness of the open source model.

Linux Rocks!!
