I use earthlink and have no trouble at all. They sent me a CD, but I never used
it at all. They just have a regular dialup and I use what ever I want.

Subject: Is Earthlink Linux-friendly?
Well, not only did webzone.net dump their Linux server a couple of months
ago, now their dumping all their dialup clients, with Earthlink picking
up the pieces. The notice from webzone included the following gem:
* EarthLink will provide you with a full set-up kit, including EarthLink's
proprietary software and Internet Explorer, at no cost to you.
Sounds sorta like AOL to me - I'm so thrilled.
Anyway, does anybody have experience with Linux and Earthlink? Should
I dump them the way they're dumping me? Your comments and advice will
be appreciated.
