Agreed on the FIC board. I just used the Soyo as an example. Mostly
because it's easier to setup then the FIC. BTW you can run your RAM at
66mhz instead of 100mhz with the FIC board. Save you some money as
opposed to buying PC 100 RAM which is more expensive.

Okay! So I'm a little biased towards Abit here as well. I run the same
Abit TX5. Love it! Great board. I run an AMD K6 300 currently at
342mhz (5x66mhz, turbo enabled). Runs fine. I can run WinNT 4 or Linux
at the 366 (approx) setting with no problems, as well as run both of
those OS's at 4x75 and 4.5x75 with no crashes or other weird
happenings. In a word - stable. Win98 gets hung loading the desktop at
the higher bus speeds. I do have good RAM though. Corsair SDRAM, 64mb,
and a Matrox Mill II, 8mb, PCI. I use this in an AT case 'cause mine
has a drawer module and it's a nice case so I had no reason to move to
ATX yet.

Agreed here as well. Nice card and inexpensive. Renders nice images
and renders them FAST (230mhz RAMDAC).
