The message you are seeing means the boot disk you are using cant find an
ext2 filesystem anywhere on the disk it has been told to look for.
It would seem that you are using the wrong bootdisk, considering you say you
have not installed linux as yet, but the bootdisk is looking for a linux
filesystem which has not yet been installed.
I have no idea how Linux Pro installs, so you will have to tell us just how
it is to be installed and what disk(s) are available to use as bootdisks to
install it.
I have lost an important file which contains the addresses of error
messages, 3:40 i belive is /dev/hda4 the fourth partition on the first ide
drive, but i am not sure, i could be wrong on that.
