First off, I hope AOL isn't your primary provider-- You can't use it with
Linux.  Period.  =(  There's simply no client software for it.  (And if
I'm wrong, someone PLEASE tell me, I've been looking FOREVER for such a
thing).

Any other provider that uses PPP and doesn't require specialized client
software you can set up with Linux.  Setup for ISPs varies under various
distributions of linux.... Slackware has pppsetup, Red Hat has Linuxconf,
SuSE has YaST, and there are various others.
