Which version of X are you running and have you checked
www.xfree86.org/cardlist.html to see if there is support for your video
card? Also, have you tried using XF86Config to manually set your screen and
video card specs? It's quite possible that your video card is JUST
proprietary enough that Linux doesn't support it (yet.)
I'd suggest checking with the above link and see what (if anything) they
suggest for your video card. If it's not supported, you may have to go out
and BUY another video card to replace the GW hardware (btw, I have a LOW
opinion of GW2K hardware -- my previous employer bought about half a dozen
as they were the "lowest price." They had to replace almost EVERY power
supply at least once and burned out a monitor as well.... good luck with
yours!)
