Hello
I'm using SuSE 6.1 with xwindows. The problem is quite often,
xwindows seems to start, and then nothing happens. The only way
to recover is to hit reset which is a pain and dangerous. I check the
SuSE support database and it says not run to run gpm which I'm
not. I'm using a S3Trio3d which means I'm stuck with the vga16
server. Any body have any idea whats causing it?

Diskette Maintenance Tip - #02
Diskettes should be cleaned and waxed once a week.
Microscopic metal particles can be removed by waving a
powerful magnet over the surface of the disk. Any
stubborn metallic shavings can be removed with scouring
powder and soap. When waxing the diskettes, make sure the
surface is even. This will allow the diskette to spin
faster, resulting in better access time.
