Hi !
U can look up modems on the hardware compatibility list of the homepage
for ur Linux distribution (if u told us, i could tell you). Afaik any
external modem should work and modems that defenitely work are the Elsa
Microlink 28.8TQV and the Else MicroLink 56k basic - those are the ones i
used with my RedHat 5.2.
