Looking for linux modem compatibility list? It's here

When I was buying a modem a while back I was told to go ISA PNP or
external. I'm not sure if that recommendation is still valid (though I
heard there are stil only 2 PCI modems that are known to work with
linux)
Currently I use a Diamond SupraExpress 56k ISA PNP. Works fine.
