This is easy: type "adduser" at the console prompt. It
should give you the syntax and all that. However, on the
off chance that it does not, the command is "adduser
<username>" it should then prompt you for a password for
the new user. Enter the password, and hit "enter" then
Linux will prompt you again for confirmation.
Then, next time you start up Linux, enter the new username
at the prompt and type in THAT password instead and you
should be logged in as a normal user.
Do you have X configured yet? If not, I'd suggest setting
that up and running in "GUI" mode for now. You can play
with the console mode commands later.
