hi everyone,
i have redhat 6.0 (soon to upgrade to 6.1)
and i need to buy a printer.
can anyone please tell me if the following printers
will work with linux, and in particular, can i send
postscript files to the printer, (as i am used to doing
at work using solaris).
epson colour stylus 460, 660, etc ...
i heard that linux supports the 640 but not the 440,
can people please tell me what printers they have no problem with ?
i had a look at the hardware compatibility list on the red hat site
but is is really out of date and doesnt include the above.
please reply directly to me as i am not on the list anymore.
