No you had it nearly correct the first time only you spelt some letters with
upper case. "xf86config"
The program which gets the job done when XF86Setup Xconfigurator and the
like fail, thats why we see so many questions here about X this and that
cant find my video resolutions and the likes.

Thats why i like Ray and Lawson recomend it, it is in my opinion the
easiest one to use as well.
