I just started getting this error. It doesn't seem to make any 
difference as X starts with the same window manager as always. I 
didn't intentionally change anything but I did install some update 
rpms including fvwn2-2_0_46-12_i386.rpm and fvmw2-icons-2_0_46-
12_i386.rpm. This was to update RH 5.2. Here is the error 
message.

The directory is indeed missing. I'm curious as to how I selected 
WindowMaker as my window manager or where 
/usr/share/WindowMaker or wmaker went since I didn't have the 
error message before.
