Linux Proxy

Hello All, 

Quick question.  I'm looking to set up a home proxy box for a friend of
mine, and I'd like to use linux.  The box would need to do DHCP, local DNS
resolution, and of course, default route IP to a cable modem.  Can RH6.1 do
this out of the box, or do I need additional software?  Any help is greatly
appreciated!
