So judging by what you say, the other guy needs to do;
cd /dev
rm mouse
ln -s /dev/ttyS0 mouse
gpm -t ms
I have a serial mouse which has a switch on it, it is MicroSoft and MouseSystems
compatable, it works no problem on most Linux distro's, but it wont work with
corel, in fact with this type of mouse i cant even install corel.
Anyway that is meant as an indication that, when it works on one system it
should work on another, however that is not always the case.
