Sorry if I am wrong in this group, but my problem seems to be a little an
"intersystems"- one
I have Linux and Windows NT iinstalled in a hard disk, functioning perfectly
under LILO´s dual booting command. Due to some programs I need and which only
exists for OS/2, I need now to install also OS/2. So I buyed another hard
disk, installed this one as a slave in my PC and started - as I thought -
installing OS/2. No way at all ! OS/2 obviously dont understand the Linux LILO
and Linux/ Windows NT partitions and want to repartition booth hard drives. and
to install the boot manager ( I prefer to have LILO )
Is there any experience somewhere about how to install OS/2 on an existing
Linux system withouth damaging the last one ? Or does someone now a trick how I
can force OS/2 to install in the second drive ? It sounds ridiculous, but there
must exist a way to install OS/2 on a running system ?
Please dont advice me to ask the OS/2 people, I am going to do so anyway, but I
fear a little every system-expert telling me that the other system is
responsible.
Thanks,
Edgar
