I've been using all the GUI Windows and Mac FTP programs for years. I remember being
totally frustrated (before the web) because I didn't know command line ftp. Then I
found some GUIs.
I wish I had stuck with command line. It's definately much quicker in terms of not
having to display a bunch of graphics. I'm sure there are a hundred more advantages I
haven't come across, like everything else in Linux so far.
