Just to clarify ... Walnut Creek CD-ROM is the publisher of Slackware, not a
different group. ITs ftp site is ftp.cdrom.com .
www.slackware.com is run by Walnut Creek CD-ROM.
www.slackware.org is run by somebody else (I don't know who) who is
unaffiliated (in a business sense) with Walnut Creek CD-ROM. It is located
in Sacramento, CA, a considerable distance (at least to us locals) from
Walnut Creek. My impression from looking at the page is that it is an
almost-unmaintained site.
