We provide 2 Tools. The Old one which get no new features, only systemtype Updates and the new one.
Old: IT Assistant (requires a Windows 32 Bit OS) New: DMC (requires a w23 Host or VM) Both tools are able to compare server revisions with the actual Updates. So you can run the comparison report to see which machines need to be updated. A snmp configuration on each machine is a must have. You can check the videos for getting an Overview. If you have further questions feel free to ask. They are different models from PE66xx, PE2850, PE2950, R900, R710 etc. The arrays include PV220, MD1000, MD3000. Is there a recommended practice for keeping all servers up to date with drivers, firmware etc ? The older servers won't work with the newer versions of OM. Logging onto each server, checking the current version of OM, seeing if an updated version of OM will work, installing that version of OM, checking for updates etc ... There has to be an easier way than that, can anyone recommend anything ? Cheers Nick. __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4896 (20100225) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com _______________________________________________ Linux-PowerEdge mailing list Linux-PowerEdge@dell.com https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge Please read the FAQ at http://lists.us.dell.com/faq _______________________________________________ Linux-PowerEdge mailing list Linux-PowerEdge@dell.com https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge Please read the FAQ at http://lists.us.dell.com/faq
