Yes it is almost the same , just UUIDs are uniq  and LABELs are kind of 
human readable .
you can get UUID or LABELS with blkid tool or filesystem specific tools 
like tune2fs and so on .

Can't tell you , I don't use anaconda but I don't see any reason why it 
shouldn't .
