I tested raid performance with my linux box with bigger files.
Env. is ...
o Intel "Providence" PR440FX motherboard
o Dual Pentium Pro Processor (233 MHz)
o 256 MB of RAM
o On board aic7880 SCSI controller
o Add on AHA-2940(Ver. 1.16)
o HP 2GB SCSI2 HDD x 5 drives (10M sync)
o Debian Gnu/Linux 2.0
o Linux kernels 2.2.0pre7 + raid0145-19990108-2.2.0-pre5
o test program: bonnie
I do not know whether it means or not, I clean up(mke2fs) the RAID partition
before each test AGAIN.
