remove the junk raid lines from redhat startup scripts
/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit
/etc/rc.d/init.d/halt
also remove the old raidtools rpm

> ... autorun DONE.

this is strange, does it work if you start it manually with
raidstart /dev/md5???
