my ProLiant 2500... I only be able to install RedHat 5.2 on it. it work only
fine with 5.2 with special boot disks installation.
and lot of trouble when I try to upgrade to 2.2.x. At the end, I give-up. I
put back Netware on the box.

you can buy a high quality generic machine is better!
I have another home-built server running 2.2.12 Linux SMP with
Software-root-RAID, excellent work without any trouble.
