Yes, but watch out. I have had numerous problems getting wide busses to
negotiate at higher speeds with narrow devices on it. One thing to watch
out for is putting a narrow zip drive at the end of a wide bus using a
68 to 50 adaptor. The upper data lines don't get terminated in this case
as in this diagram:
___________ ___________
____ | 68 to | | narrow |
PC | 68 pin wide | 50 pin | |terminator|
|----------+----------+-------| adaptor | | as is |
|----------|-+--------|-+-----|---------|---+-------|inside the|

IMHO the only way to go is to use the adatpor to hang it off the scsi
and us an external wide terminator as in:
___________
____ | wide |
PC | 68 pin wide |terminator|
|----------+----------+--------------+--------------| |
|----------|-+--------|-+------------|-+------------| |
| | | | | | | |__________|
___| | | | | | |

| HD | | HD | | 50 pin |
|______| |______| | adaptor|

____|_____

Remember to keep the cable lengths within the SCSI wide specifications
and sacrafice a chicken or two to the vodoo SCSI dieties and everything
should be OK.
Cheers,
Eric
