For single-ended SCSI, you have passive termination (a resistor
network between power, ground, and the signal lines), active 
termination (a resistor network between the signal lines and 
a voltage regulator), and forced perfect termination (I believe
this is individual active circuits on each of the signal lines).

Active terminators are more likely to work than passive, and forced
perfect an even better bet.
