Hello Everyone!
Using the last kernel-releases up to 2.1.125 I got weird scsi timeouts,
causing me to reboot the machine (GA-686DLX, 2x 233 PII, Adaptec 7880
controller onboard).
I have the suspect, that this is a cabling problem. Can anybody confirm
it? I hope this is not a software problem, because I can easier fix the
hardware. ;-)
I attached the mptable output for convenience.
The message "stuck on smp_invalidate_needed IPI wait" should not frighten
me, or should it? The kernel says it sometimes but work is going on and
I don't think it belongs to the problem.
There is another thing: Under X sometimes I sometimes loose mouse and
keyboard non reproducable, but when I kill the X-Server from another
machine, work is going on...
This is annoying but maybe not related to SMP.
