The same problem with "unknown interrupts" here but it does not 
depends on soundcards ...
I've an AWE 64 and it works very well. Currently I'am using the ALSA 
driver instead of the original OSS/Lite. But OSS is not the problem, 
it semms to work, too.

Don't think so. He GA686DLX seems to have the problems with "Unkown 
Interrupts". It also has an Adaptec-UW controller on board. May be, 
there is a problem with the AIC-7xxx driver ??
