I'm sorry to say everything works fine here. I've got the GA586DX latest
revision 3B and BIOS version 3.43. The rest of the configuration is

2 x P200MMX
128MB
AWE 64 ISA PNP
Matrox Millenium I PCI
SMC EtherPower PCI
EIDE HD
UW-SCSI HD
SCSI Tape
SCSI CDROM
Parport ZIP

I've used development kernels up to 2.1.131 an th regular kernels up to
2.0.36.
Both distributions of SuSE Linux 5.1 and 6.0 work fine.

I don't have any problems with a 33.6 modem.

I think the early revisions of the board had problems. The later ones
work fine. At least I had no problems with the revision 3B Board.

P.S. Also the synthesizer component works fine on the AWE64.
