I have the same mobo GA-586DX with a couple of 200mmx and 2.2.1, here
the only problems are with the X, I must upgrade to 3.3.3 to see if
they happen again, I have some X hangs and one reboot while loading X.
But althought that "It works OK" (tm)
P.D. I know that the crash comes from the X because the sysrq works,
but I cannot return to a text console, so I must Sync, Unmount &
reBoot.
