It is not clear whether the term NIC in this context means "supports
FC-IP" or not. The Qlogic FC f/w model doesn't support FC-IP, only
FC-SCSI. There is a rumor that there is a Linux driver somewhere for the
Emulex cards (they do support FC-IP as far as I know).

It's possible that the new f/w model for the Qlogic 2200 will support
FC-IP: I'm waiting for the spec now.
