Thanks for the help people.
To answer the question about FC-IP support vs. just FC-SCSI...I was
thinking of testing an external RAID configuration on one of my Linux
boxes, so FC-SCSI first.
I have also thought about finding some extra funding to try my hand at
putting together a two machine cluster using FC as the connection medium
between the two boxes...so then FC-IP.
...just starting to kick around the idea. I was thinking about doing this
in my "spare time" using my "extra money". Like the rest of you have
undoubtedly already found, I am coming to the conclusion that neither
exist in real life (spare time and extra money).
