I have three of these running as SMP at my location. One dual-PII is my
fileserver, the second is my mailhost and DNS, and the third is a test box
that sits on my desk. All seem to perform admirably.

I've had MPI running on two of the three boxes above. It seemed to
perform well when compared to an HP/Convex Exemplar SPP-2000 with 8
processors. Since the linux boxes were production machines, ie in use
doing file, mail, and print services, I was not able to isolate the two
machines into its own cluster. However, initial tests showed that the
four processor cluster outperformed the HP/Convex running a large
computational program we use here.
