I administer a web server running Linux at a local high school and I've
only rebooted it a few times in the last 1 1/2 yrs it's been running. 
Longest standing time for it was 81 days.  I only reboot it if I change
the kernel or something like that.  The other machine they used to have
ran 95 and some website software.  It crashed at least 5 times a day. 
People were so used to it that there would be other schools calling
telling us to reboot the server.  Never heard anything like that about
the linux box :-)
