I thought the utility 'top' displays CPU time for EACH processor. Did this change? I used to get ~99% of the CPU reported for two significantly large processes running on my dual PentiumII machine. I recently installed RH6.0 on this machine. I now get ~48% for each process. Does the CPU percentage apply to TOTAL PROCESSOR or to each processor?? The 48% indicator leads me to think that only one processor is being used! Is there another way to see if both are active, or is this OK?
