I thought the utility 'top' displays CPU time for EACH processor.

Did this change?

I used to get ~99% of the CPU reported for two
significantly large processes running on my dual PentiumII
machine.  I recently installed RH6.0 on this machine.

I now get ~48% for each process.

Does the CPU percentage apply to TOTAL PROCESSOR or to
each processor??

The 48% indicator leads me to think that only one processor
is being used!

Is there another way to see if both are active, or is this
OK?
