I just read an lengthy article that AMD has promising plans for
SMP (via some sort-of crossbar switch) with their new Athlons.
Has Linus or anybody else already contact with AMD (like with Intel)?
If so, can anybody drop some words about that, or are you under an NDA
already?
BTW: Since this is IMHO the best Linux-mailinglist around (here are
the most competent guys and the least dumb questions), I'd like to
ask a little off-topic question: Has anybody any recommendations for
an AMD Athlon mainboard for use with Linux? (May reply me in private,
to not disturb the others too much...)
