Could be a BIOS problem. It has been seen before on boards produced
before the PIII came out that the BIOS didn't work flawlessly with
PIII's.
Try checking with www.soyo.tw .
You do not write 'PIII processors' (plural). Is the board fitted with
just one? If you're using two, are they the same stepping?
Hmm, does Linux completely take over, not using the BIOS at all?
If the Soyo BIOS is broken, Linux does falls back on the BIOS, right?
