Anyway, can you send me a traceroute (private, not on the list)? A few months
ago some routers at alter.net managed to screw up their routing tables for
more than a WEEK, such that my website was unreachable (but mail got
through).

The source part is placed under the GPL; AFAIK, it is allowed to link in
binary stuff into the Linux kernel as an exception by Linus. However, if I
distribute the binary part as a module that you load separately, there are
no issues at all. Since I would not limit distribution of such a module,
distributors can decide to include the module on their CDs or not. Users can
otherwise download the module from my webpage.
