I can't find all of the information in those files. When the device initializes you should see lots of messages such as "INIT 1" "INIT 2" "INIT 3" as well as the one I mentioned previously. I don't see any of that in your logs. It's quite odd because you get *some* of the debug info inside "debug", but not messages such as the one you posted above. I suggest that you investigate configuring your system logger better so that it captures *all* the kernel messages into one place, then send me that. Personally I use syslog-ng which seems to log all debug stuff to /var/log/messages out of the box.
