One more datapoint: the OOPS occurs when I run "modprobe mousdev". Hmm. I have been building a lot of different versions of 2.3.99-pre4. I don't usually go in a blow away all my 2.3.99-pre4-5 modules before I rebuild. Could this OOPS be due to attempting to insert a modules that was built for a different pre4 version? I kinda doubt it, since modutils should at least notify me that the module was built for a different kernel. Oh, when I run "modprobe mousedev", modprobe segfaults.
