But if I can talk to the modem using minicom (giving AT commands
works fine) doesn't it mean it's all working fine? All I want to know is
the 8-bit not clean is related to USB or not?

But the modem seems to have two configurations and the second has comm and
data with acm. Isn't that enought?

Another thing I got mistake my modem his the one named Supramaz with a
label with (SUP) 2890.

He also had a 8-bit not clean problem?
