At this stage we are planning to go ahead sometime in the next few weeks. We live near Leeston so connectivity isn't guaranteed. Their web site says that checking for viability costs $100 (incled in installation fee of $395 if OK) but on the phone they said that if I wasn't in a rush that was negotiable. The person I spoke with was certainly friendly and approachable. Given that our phone lines are so bad that adsl isn't an option I think they are the cheapest broadband option available to us.
Thanks again, Ian
