As recommended by others, PuTTY. However, I suspect the problem isn't the SSH client, but the settings on your remote machine. Have a look at http://www.google.co.nz/search?q=ls_colors and maybe http://www.google.co.nz/search?q=vim+colors HTH, Roy.
