No idea with Debian but way bsck when I started, Uh maybe 94, debian was one
that was always long way behind, stable but! Suse 7.3 was a bit of a disaater
but the new one , *.0, has good reports so we just clubbed in and bought it.
Mandrake 8.2 is buggy and as far as I am concerned after fighting it for 3 -4
weeks a disaster too. There are too many rushed beta progs in it.
