It might be better value for your money (esp. in December) to get an Athlon XP 2*00+. What chipset is that Shuttle motherboard? VIA KT333 is what I'm using now, and it's really fast, and reliable so far. Video? I'd go for an NVidia Geforce4 Ti4200 if you game a good deal, as NVidia has drivers, and it's a modern card at a really good price.The hardware I'm thinking about is AMD XP 1700 - 1.47 GHz CPU with a Shuttle AK32L Socket-A XP motherboard. Any comments on the CPU or MB? How about a video card recommendation (would like 3d capability). TIA
